After the CommBank Emerging Matildas Championships concluded this week, the CommBank Emerging Socceroos Championships kick off this weekend, providing a platform for Australia’s most promising young footballers to showcase their talent in front of national team technical staff.
A cornerstone of Football Australia’s national talent identification pathway, the tournament runs over seven days and brings together teams from all nine State and Territory Member Federations, alongside invitational sides including the Charles Perkins XI and Japan Football Academy.
The championships have long served as a proving ground for the next generation of national team stars.
From current CommBank Socceroo Jordy Bos to the legendary Harry Kewell, the tournament boasts an impressive list of alumni.
Here's everything to know about how to watch Australia's next generation of football stars unearthed over the coming week.

HOW TO WATCH
KommunityTV is your destination for exclusive live streams of the 2026 CommBank Emerging Championships with News Corp full digital subscribers having exclusive access to watch the action.
Every match will be available to watch live and on demand. Live streams of all fields will be available for each day of the tournament, with replays posted at the end of each day.
Formerly the National Youth Championships, the competition entered a new era in 2025 as the Emerging Championships - a name that says exactly what it is: where the next generation of national team stars emerge.
At last year's Championships, Victoria Blue (U15) and NSW Sky (U16) both went back-to-back in lifting the crown, but there will be no easy run this year.
Queensland and Western Australia are coming in hungry after falling just short in last year’s deciders.
There’s also a strong international flavour, with the Japan Football Association (JFA) Academy U15 men’s side joining the mix, building on Malaysia’s appearance in last year’s tournament.
