2026 CommBank Emerging Championships

The CommBank Emerging Matildas and CommBank Emerging Socceroos Championships are a cornerstone of Football Australia’s national talent identification and development pathway, providing a critical platform for Australia’s most promising young footballers to showcase their ability in front of national team technical staff. Held over 12 days, the CommBank Emerging Championships continue to strengthen the connection between youth football and Australia’s senior national teams, reinforcing a clear, high‑performance pathway toward the CommBank Matildas and CommBank Socceroos.

The 2026 CommBank Emerging Championships will bring together teams from Football Australia’s nine State and Territory Member Federations and invitational teams including the Charles Perkins XI, Vietnam Football Federation and Japan Football Academy.
