Football Australia to hold 23rd Annual General Meeting

The 23rd Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Football Australia Limited will be held at 12.00pm AEST on Thursday, 28 May 2026 at Football Australia’s offices at Moore Park, Sydney and via videoconference. 

In accordance with its Constitution, the business to be conducted at the AGM is for Football Australia’s Members to receive and consider Football Australia’s Financial Report (12 months to 31 December 2025), report on the activities of Football Australia, and inform Members of Football Australia’s annual budget.  

The meeting will also conduct elections for three Director positions on Football Australia’s Board.   

The Nominee Directors listed below will seek election to fill two (2) positions as Elected Directors of Football Australia for terms of office expiring at the 2029 AGM, and for one (1) Elected Director vacancy for a term of office expiring at the 2028 AGM. 

  1. BITTAR, Paul proposed by Adelaide United and seconded by Natalie Matich.
  2. GOODRICK, Mark proposed by Macarthur FC and seconded by Brisbane Roar.
  3. HOLMAN, Christine proposed by Football Tasmania and seconded by Northern NSW Football.
  4. MCGUANE, Cathy proposed by Football Queensland and seconded by Football NSW.
  5. SCHWARZER OAM, Mark proposed by Football NSW and seconded by Football West.
  6. SUTTON, Jon proposed by Macarthur FC and seconded by Brisbane Roar.

In addition, Members will be asked to ratify the appointment of Kelly Rourke as the new Independent Chair of the Women’s Football Council and to approve amendments to Football Australia’s Constitution to align with the requirements of the Australian Sports Commission.
