CommBank Pararoos squad named for IFCPF Men’s World Cup 2026

Football Australia has confirmed the 14-player CommBank Pararoos squad that will represent Australia at the IFCPF Men’s World Cup 2026 in Atlanta, USA from 12-24 October.

Head Coach Kai Lammert’s squad features significant World Cup experience, with 11 players returning from the group that represented Australia at the 2024 edition in Salou, Spain.

The squad also includes first-time Pararoo Josh De Silva (Football West), whose journey back to football following an acquired brain injury has culminated in his maiden national team selection.

The squad features players from five Member Federations across Australia, with five representatives from Football NSW, four from Football West, three from Football Victoria, and one each from Football Queensland and Capital Football.

Australia has been drawn into Group B alongside Brazil, Spain and Chile, with all matches to be played at the U.S. Soccer National Training Center in Atlanta.

The CommBank Pararoos will open their campaign against Brazil on Thursday, 15 October before facing Spain on Friday, 16 October and Chile on Sunday, 18 October.
