Australia’s final match before commencing their Games campaign, the encounter will see the two top-ranked nations in the Asian Football Confederation go head-to-head.

Members of Football Federation Australia’s Congress have not passed a resolution which would have increased representation for women, professional clubs and professional players.
Seven of the 10 Members voted in favour of the resolution but with more than 75 percent approval required to pass, the outcome fell just short of the threshold required. The result means that FFA’s constitution remains unchanged and the Congress continues with its current membership – one representative each from the nine Member Federations and one representing the Hyundai A-League clubs.

Canberra United’s Powerchair football team has received new sets of wheels, thanks to the generous efforts of Rotary and Capital Region Muscular Dystrophy.
Powerchair football is a modified version of soccer for electric wheelchair users, including persons with quadriplegia, multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy, cerebral palsy, hand trauma, stroke, and other spinal cord injuries.
In 2017, Capital Football and Capital Region Muscular Dystrophy joined forces to form a local Powerchair football team, with monthly training sessions and come and try days hosted twice a year.
