January 20 Update
The Verification deadline has been extended until 5pm (AEDT) Wednesday 21 January, and our Document Verification Service will be available Wednesday morning AEDT. Exact time is unknown at this stage.
As a reminder, DO NOT send us your passport or other identification, it is deleted immediately without being sighted. Additionally, non-Australian passports are not valid. If you are not an Australian Citizen, we are not able to provide access to Australia's ticket allocation.
If you attempt and are rejected you can request one more attempt and we will re-set your account if you email us prior to 3pm (AEDT) Wednesday 21 January.
January 16 Update
You may be required to complete an ID verification process to ensure that applicants meet the criteria of being an Australian supporter detailed on page 4 of the FA+ Eligibility Rules.
If you did not apply for World Cup tickets using the FIFA Access Code issued to you by Football Australia, you do not need to complete this process.
Over 75% of applicants have been pre-verified by historical transactions. To find out your status, log in to your Football Account and look for the ID Verified status bar. You have until 5pm (AEDT) Tuesday 20 January to become verified.
How Do I Become Verified?
If you are not pre-verified, you will immediately receive a pop-up asking you to verify now.
Bank account verification will be completed by ConnectID, an Australian Government approved service. Football Australia will not see any of your bank details. You can choose to verify your ANZ/Commonwealth/NAB/Westpac (Westpac only on mobile devices) Bank Account to verify you.
From Monday we will also include a Document Verification Service through One Click Verify, an Australian Government approved service for document verification. Football Australia has been approved to use this service by the Attorney-General's department. No information you provide will be sent to Football Australia. Australian Government issued document examples include Drivers Licence, Passport, ImmiCard, Medicare Card and Health Cards. You will need a device with a camera to complete verification using an accepted document.
The verification process is straightforward however we have created a step-by-step guide to assist you if you encounter any issues.
What If I Cannot Verify My Details?
Please do not email Football Australia any private information, if received it will need to be deleted and cannot be used to verify your identity.
If there are any technical issues with the verification system, please notify us by email and check back on Monday after 1pm.
If your FA+ membership is not in your full name (cannot be verified against an accepted Australian Government issued document), you should update your name on your Football Account to match your identification document. Before attempting verification, edit your details, then log out and log back in.
If you "Sign in with Google" we are working on a system update and you will be able to edit your details on Monday 19 January. Do not try to verify if your name does not match.
What Happens If I Am Rejected?
You can request one more attempt and we will re-set your account on Monday or Tuesday if you email us prior to 3pm (AEDT) Tuesday 20 January. Please ensure you prepare your documents for the second attempt, and you are emailing us from the relevant Football Account email address.
January 14 Update
I have applied for FIFA World Cup 2026™ Tickets - What happens next?
The application phase for FA+ Members with an Access Code is now closed. From this moment on, supporters can no longer submit or cancel applications. You will not be able to access the FIFA Ticketing Portal over the next few days until FIFA completes system and content updates. In the coming days you will be able to view your ticket applications in a “pending” status until FIFA informs you of the results of the Supporters Random Selection Draw, which will not take place before 05 February 2026.
FA has received data from FIFA that all three Australia group matches are oversubscribed across every ticket category, including Round of 32 Category 3 conditional tickets. As a result, all applications for these matches (Cat 3 only for Round of 32 conditional tickets) will proceed to a ballot.
FIFA will provide Football Australia (FA) with the full application data within the next 72 hours.
FA has engaged Ticketek as the independent random-draw ballot provider to ensure a fair and equitable process for all applicants. Ticketek will apply the same methodology used for other major Australian sporting events.
Simultaneously, we will be conducting an ID verification process to ensure that applicants meet the criteria of being an Australian supporter detailed on page 4 of FA+'s Eligibility Rules.
How will I be verified?
Any FA+ member with a prior history with Football Australia that can be matched to their email address will be pre-verified. We have used ticket purchase history, player registration history and other data to determine that 70% of applicants are pre-verified.
Any non-verified members will need to complete an online verification process. This will mean providing proof of eligibility by providing an Australian Bank Account, Passport, Drivers Licence or other form of ID.
Do not send this information to Football Australia, we will be using an Australian Government approved third party to conduct this verification service. FA does not collect any personal information form this process.
Keep a lookout for a follow-up email and check the Stay Updated page regularly, we hope to run the ID Verification service between from 16-20 January.
Who will be eligible to receive Entry Tier tickets?
On 17 December 2025, following the Draw and the start of the PMA Supporter Sales Phase, FIFA introduced an additional ticket category for PMA supporters: the Supporter Entry Tier. This dedicated inventory represents approximately 10% of Football Australia’s overall PMA supporters allocation per match. Supporter Entry Tier tickets were not available to apply for via the FIFA Ticketing Portal.
FIFA advised all PMAs to reward their “most loyal supporters” with these tickets. FA+ is the only Football Australia membership that provides access to Football Australia’s allocation. Unlike some other Participating Member Associations (PMAs) with established, tiered membership and loyalty programs, Football Australia does not currently have a loyalty scheme in place and is therefore unable to allocate these tickets using a pre-determined, previously communicated process.
If you applied for Cat1-Cat3 tickets using the FIFA Access Code provided to you as an FA+ Member and you are eligible to apply for these tickets but are unsuccessful in the ballot due to demand exceeding supply, then all unsuccessful applicants across all categories for that match will be entered into a further ballot for the Supporter Entry Tier tickets. Successful applicants will receive a link from FA and must complete payment for the tickets by the stated deadline. If payment is not received by this deadline, FA will automatically reallocate the tickets to next applicants on the unsuccessful list.
When will I know if I have been successful?
The payment phase via your nominated payment method is expected to commence in early February 2026. Accordingly, FIFA is anticipated to notify both successful and unsuccessful applicants before this date. We will provide further updates as more information becomes available.

FA+ Members who apply for tickets via a FA Access Code are not guaranteed tickets, as the number of ticket requests may exceed the ticket allocation available. If there are more applications than tickets, on a match by match consideration, a ballot (random selection draw) will be conducted for each applicable match. You can apply for tickets for all matches but being successful in one match does not guarantee success for all matches.
Please try another device/browser or incognito mode.
Yes, please follow the steps in the Supporter Access Guide linked above.
Fans under the age of 18 must have a parent/guardian above the age of 18 who is registered as an FA+ Member in order to apply for tickets. Anyone under the age of 18 can be added to an application as a guest of an FA+ Member.
No. FA+ Members who apply are not guaranteed tickets, as the number of ticket requests may exceed the ticket allocation available. A ballot (random selection draw) will be conducted to determine which applicants are allocated tickets.
FIFA will provide Football Australia with a variable percentage of tickets for each of the CommBank Socceroos matches (group stage and play-off) based on net stadium capacity.
FA's supporter allocation of tickets will be in 3 distinct categories - Supporters Premier Tier, Supporters Standard Tier and Supporters Value Tier.
Every FA+ Member can apply for up to 2 tickets (one Access Code will allow an FA+ Member to apply for up to 2 tickets). Applications will be made via the FIFA ticket portal exclusively for FA+ Members.
According to FIFA’s official ticketing information, a “baby in arms” is a child who:
Is 2 years old or younger on the day of the match, and
Is no taller than 34 inches (about 86 cm), and
Sits on a ticket holder’s lap during the match. FIFA World Cup 2026
If your child meets all three criteria, they can enter without their own ticket (but cannot occupy their own seat). You can also bring only one baby in arms per ticket holder.
If your child does not meet the “baby in arms” criteria, then they must have their own ticket to enter the stadium.
Tournament restrictions: 4 per match / 40 across the whole tournament. FIFA.com
FA's allocation is only for CommBank Socceroos matches. FA+ Members also have the opportunity to request conditional tickets for the CommBank Socceroos potential play-off matches, including the Round of 32, Round of 16, Quarter Finals, Semi Finals and Final/Third Place Game. Conditional tickets will only be issued if the CommBank Socceroos advance.
Conditional Supporter Tickets (CST) – Individual match tickets available for each of the play-off matches that could be played by the CommBank Socceroos. CSTs are conditional on the CommBank Socceroos qualifying for the match, otherwise the ticket purchaser will receive a refund to the payment card used (minus FIFA admin/processing fees).
Please note that the FIFA ticketing portal online order page will not automatically conduct checks on limits when you submit your request. Instead, the request submitted is checked after the sales window has concluded in combination with all other requests received. Please take care not to exceed the stated combined household limits when submitting your request either through this phase or any earlier or later ticket sales phases through FIFA.
Yes. Anyone who applies for a ticket to follow the CommBank Socceroos for matches in the play-off rounds will be applying for a conditional ticket, which will only be valid if the CommBank Socceroos advance. Applicants will be required to use a payment card to pay the full amount for all tickets up front during this sales phase. Should the CommBank Socceroos fail to advance to a stage of the tournament where someone has purchased a ticket, then the ticket purchaser will receive a refund to the payment card used.
Yes but NOT by using your FA+ Member Access Code. Fans should visit the FIFA World Cup official ticketing platform at FIFA.com/tickets to apply for non-CommBank Socceroos matches.
FA+ Members will be able to apply for tickets in three categories/price levels. The FA Access Code will give applicants the opportunity to choose which category or categories of tickets they prefer but not allow any more specifics (like section, row, seat) beyond this. FIFA will offer the option to request adjacent seats to another group or purchaser at different stages of the application and buying journey. You will only be able to request to sit with other successful applications from the Football Australia allocation.
FA+ Members will be given fixed ticket pricing during the Advanced Sales Phase, and this will be the only time that FA issued Access Codes will be valid. FIFA does not offer family, child, concession or any other discounted ticket prices in any category.
After the Advanced Sales Phases application window has concluded, ticket prices for all other sales phases will become variable.
FIFA’s ticketing policy generally prohibits refunds unless matches are cancelled. For more information, please visit the FIFA ticketing website.
FIFA will launch an official ticket resale platform where fans may be able to resell tickets. Details will be shared closer to the tournament.
Soon after the ticket application window for FA’s allocation of tickets closes at 11:00 ET (17:00 CET) on 13 January, the FIFA World Cup Ticketing Office will contact all applicants directly to confirm whether or not their application for tickets was successful. FA will also be asked to confirm the eligibility of all applications received as part of its allocation. It is imperative that the FA+ Member first name, surname, DOB and email address exactly matches your Fan ID first name, surname, DOB and email address.
A reminder on Football Australia ticket allocation eligibility from FA+ FAQ’s:
Q: Can I still have the opportunity to access Football Australia’s FIFA World Cup 2026™ ticket allocation if I live outside of Australia?
A: Yes, but only if you are an FA+ member and an Australian citizen.
Q: Can I access the ticket allocation if I live in Australia but am not an Australian citizen?
A: Yes, if you are an FA+ member and a permanent Australian resident.
Q: Can I access the ticket allocation if I am not an Australian citizen or resident?
A: No. While non-citizens and non-residents can still purchase FA+ and enjoy its benefits, they are not eligible for access to Football Australia’s FIFA World Cup 2026™ ticket allocation. Priority is given to Australians living in Australia or abroad, and to permanent residents.
Should you be successful in your application for tickets (partial or full), your payment card will be immediately charged the full amount noted during the application process (including the cost of conditional tickets).
We strongly recommend using a payment card with an expiry date of at least 12 months. This ensures that any Conditional Tickets can be refunded to the same card used during your application.
If you cannot edit your details on your Football Account because you sign in through your Gmail account, please check back each week as we are deploying a solution to this fix.
Tickets will be made available as mobile tickets. Mobile tickets will only be available through the FIFA Ticketing App. Mobile tickets will be made available closer to the start of the tournament. Mobile tickets for Conditional Supporter Tickets (CST) during the play-off rounds will also be delivered as mobile tickets as the CommBank Socceroos progress.

Any applications made with the original Access Code provided to you will be cancelled by FA at the end of the application process.
