Football Federation Australia (FFA) today announced Peter Filopoulos has been appointed FFA Head of Marketing, Communications and Corporate Affairs, and will take up his new role on Tuesday, 1 September 2020.
Filopoulos joins FFA from Football Victoria (FV), where he’s spent the past two years as Chief Executive Officer, following three years as CEO at Perth Glory FC. He has held senior roles at Swimming Australia, Etihad Stadium, North Melbourne and Hawthorn Football Clubs, and was part of the Sydney Organising Committee for the Olympic Games 2000.

Football Federation Australia (FFA) today confirmed that the clubs that finish 10th and 11th in the Hyundai A-League 2019/20 Regular Season will compete in a play-off to reach the FFA Cup 2020 Round of 32.
The play-off will be held in the days prior to commencement of the first matchday of the FFA Cup 2020 Final Rounds, and will add an intriguing element to the competition next year with one Hyundai A-League side missing out on participating in the competition proper for the first time.

The Final Draw for the competition took place this morning (Australian time) at the Teatro Nacional in San José, one of the two host cities for the tournament.
