The Futsalroos staged a dramatic comeback but ultimately went down to Afghanistan in heartbreaking fashion with a 5-4 loss in the dying moments in Thailand.Australia trailed 4-1 at half time before staging a remarkable second half comeback scoring three goals in just over a minute to level the score at 4-4. However with the game on a knife edge, Afghanistan found the winner with 12 seconds to play and move above the Futsalroos into first in the NSDF Futsal Championship standings.

Football Federation Australia (FFA) has announced the establishment of a Multicultural unit, and a new participation program that looks to engage with multicultural communities across Australia.

Ben Williams has announced his retirement.
Australia’s most experienced Hyundai A-League referee Ben Williams has announced his retirement.

Williams will referee his final match in Australia on Tuesday night when he takes control of the International Champions Cup (ICC) match between Juventus FC and Tottenham Hotspur F.C. at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. He will remain available for international appointments until December.
