Football Australia is deeply saddened by the passing of former Socceroo, David Bone (Cap #120) at the age of 94.Born and raised in Adamstown, NSW, Bone was a talented goalkeeper who carved out a distinguished career in Northern NSW Football.Bone played his junior football in Adamstown Rosebud FC before joining West Wallsend SFC, where he spent a decade as the club’s first-choice goalkeeper from 1948 to 1958. The much-anticipated fixtures for the Australia Cup 2023 Round of 32 have been confirmed, following a live draw on 10 Play this evening.

The draw – undertaken by three-time Australia Cup winner, Michael Jakobsen – has delivered several interesting match ups to open the final rounds, including six fixtures in which National Premier League (NPL) sides host Isuzu UTE A-League Men opposition.

Football Federation Australia (FFA) today unveiled a new logo and brand, to promote the whole of football in Australia.

FFA Chief Executive Officer David Gallop AM said the new visual statement signifies football as the game for all Australians.

Thirty talented teens will convene in Canberra next week as Australia’s Joeys continue to prepare for this year’s FIFA U-17 World Cup to be held in Brazil.

Football Australia has today released its end-of-season refereeing and VAR (Video Assistant Referee) report for the 2024/25 Isuzu UTE A-League Men’s season, showing clear and measurable improvements on the previous season in both decision-making accuracy and officiating performance.The analysis reveals that 98.8% of VAR decisions were deemed correct this season – a benchmark figure assessed by Football Australia’s referee coaching team. The FFA Cup Final Rounds are fast approaching, and there will be a new way to watch Australia's premier club knockout competition in 2021!

In June, Football Australia announced a landmark media rights agreement with 10 ViacomCBS for the broadcast of matches of the Australian National Teams and the FFA Cup.
