Football Australia welcomes the NSW Government announcement to increase venue capacity to 75%
What's on in October?
Football Australia today welcomed NSW Government’s announcement to increase the venue capacity of CommBank Stadium to 75% or 22,500 for the Commonwealth Bank Matildas two-match series against Brazil on Saturday 23 and Tuesday 26 October.

This announcement also coincides with New South Wales reaching a double vaccination rate of 70% of all people aged 16 and over in advance of these fixtures, with football now leading the way in NSW’s reopening plans.

At the age of 19, Bill was included in the Australian squad to tour South Africa in 1950 as back-up goalkeeper to Norman Conquest. He enjoyed a representative career that extended over 8 years and included 14 appearances for Australia, 8 games for NSW, and 7 matches for Northern NSW against touring international sides.

Former Hyundai A-League player Andy Brennan wants to be the role model he never had after becoming Australia’s only openly-gay professional footballer.
