CommBank Matildas head coach Tony Gustavsson was in attendance on day two of the 2022 National Youth Championships for Girls on Tuesday.

The tournament kicked off in Coffs Harbour on Monday with more than 350 of the best female under-14s and 16s players from across Australia taking part.

A cooler day greeted the players at the C.ex Coffs International Stadium with showers on and off during the day before heavy showers in the evening.

Football Federation Australia (FFA) today confirmed that Head of National Performance Luke Casserly would depart the organisation in the coming weeks.

The departure is part of an internal realignment in anticipation of the separation of the professional leagues from FFA and a review of FFA’s internal operational structure.

Football Australia is pleased to announce the eagerly anticipated return of the National Para Football Championships to the Australian football calendar following a COVID-19 pandemic-enforced three-year hiatus.

The premiere tournament for footballers with cerebral palsy acquired brain injury or symptoms of stroke, the 2022 edition of the championship will commence tomorrow at Runaway Bay on the Gold Coast with eight teams battling for the national title over five days (24 – 28 September 2022).
