Match Official Appointments: Isuzu UTE A-League 2022/23 April 21-24

Football Australia has confirmed the Match Official appointments for Round 25 of the Isuzu UTE A-League 2022/23 season.

Kearney Robinson will officiate his 100th A-League Men’s match as an assistant referee in Friday night's match involving Western Sydney Wanderers and Wellington Phoenix.

Kearney made his A-League debut in Round 15 of the 2015-16 season, in the match between Newcastle Jets and Wellington Phoenix, and will become the 16th official to record 100 games as an assistant referee in the A-League Men’s competition. In addition, Kearney has also recorded 161 appointments as an AVAR (assistant video assistant referee).

Meanwhile, Kris Griffiths-Jones will become the first match official to officiate 400 matches as a Video Assistant Referee (VAR) when Western United host Melbourne City on Saturday night. Kris is an inaugural member of the VAR Panel from when the system was introduced into the A-League during the latter stages of the 2016/17 season. Kris also refereed 108 A-League matches from 2009-2018, one of only nine match officials to have whistled a century of matches in the A-League.
