Matilda Dias Wadewitz has been added to the CommBank Junior Matildas squad for the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup, replacing Theodora Mouithys Mickalad.
She joins the 21-player squad as preparations continue ahead of the tournament, which will see Australia compete against the world’s best young nations on the global stage for the first time.
The FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup Morocco 2026™ will be held from 17 October to 7 November 2026, with the CommBank Junior Matildas drawn in Group F alongside Spain, Mexico and Chile.
