Football Australia is pleased to announce a new partnership with Bluestone Lane, with the Australian-born café and coffee brand joining as the Official Coffee Partner of the CommBank Socceroos.
The partnership will see Bluestone Lane play a unique role in supporting the CommBank Socceroos as they prepare to represent Australia on the global stage, delivering a fully integrated, premium espresso & matcha program within team environments to enhance player wellbeing and performance.
In addition, Bluestone Lane will activate the partnership across its 65+ café locations throughout the United States, promoting the CommBank Socceroos through co-branded coffee cups, Socceroos-themed barista apparel, and prominent in-store signage.
A dedicated digital and social media campaign will further amplify the collaboration across Bluestone Lane’s owned channels.
Quotes attributable to Football Australia Chief Executive Officer, Martin Kugeler:
“We are excited to welcome Bluestone Lane as the Official Coffee Partner of the CommBank Socceroos.
“The partnership represents an innovative way to extend the teams’ presence internationally during one of football’s biggest moments with Bluestone Lane cafes in America to be themed in green and gold for the entirety of the national teams’ campaign.
“As an Australian-born brand, successfully operating in the United States, Bluestone Lane shares a common goal with the team— they are representing Australia on the global stage and taking on the US – which is why they are the perfect partner for us.
“The partnership will elevate the Commbank Socceroos’ profile, as well as Football Australia’s, but more importantly it will allow fans in key host markets to engage with us in an authentic and creative way.”
Quotes attributable to Bluestone Lane Founder & CEO Nick Stone:
“As an Australian brand operating across the United States, supporting the Commbank Socceroos on this stage feels incredibly special for our entire team.
“We’ve always believed coffee is about much more than caffeine. It's about ritual, familiarity, and human connection.
“To bring a piece of Australian café culture directly into the team environment and rally our communities around the Socceroos is something we’re extremely proud of.”
Founded by Melbourne Australia native Nick Stone, Bluestone Lane has built a strong presence in the highly competitive US market while proudly championing its Australian heritage — from serving flat whites and avocado on toast to celebrating ‘brekkie’ culture across its cafés.
As part of the activation, Bluestone Lane will rebrand one of its San Francisco cafés as the ‘Green & Gold Café’, celebrating the CommBank Socceroos’ presence on the US West Coast, including a group stage match in nearby Santa Clara.
The venue will serve as a hub for fans, with themed experiences and potential matchday activations to bring supporters together.
Further extending the fan experience, Nick Stone’s co-owned venue, Old Mates Pub in New York, will promote Australia’s fixtures and host themed watch parties, creating focal points for Australian supporters across the United States during the tournament.
The partnership reflects a shared spirit between Bluestone Lane and the CommBank Socceroos and will be brought to life through engaging content and fan-first activations throughout June and July 2026.
