CommBank Socceroos learn fate in FIFA World Cup 2026™ Draw in Washington DC

The CommBank Socceroos were drawn in Group D during the FIFA World Cup 2026™ draw in Washington D.C. on Saturday morning (AEDT), alongside host nation USA, Paraguay and the Winner of UEFA Play-Off C, which could be Turkiye, Romania, Slovakia or Kosovo.

As a result of being drawn in Group D, the CommBank Socceroos will be based in the Western region.

The CommBank Socceroos will open up their FIFA World Cup 2026™ campaign against the Winner of UEFA Play-Off C on June 13 (local), before taking on USA on June 19 (local) and completing the Group Stage against Paraguay on June 25 (local).

Further details around the draw, including match cities and kick off times will be confirmed by FIFA within 24 hours.

The CommBank Socceroos were in Pot 2 for the draw as a result of their official FIFA Ranking with USA coming from Pot 1, Paraguay coming from Pot 3 and the Winner of UEFA Play-Off C coming from Pot 4.
