Be Their Champion

This July, the Matildas and Olyroos will embark on one of the most unique Olympic experiences in history.

While Aussies are unable to flock to Tokyo in numbers as originally planned, these players still need our support more than ever.

So, we’re calling all Australian football fans to be their champion.

Fans can get behind the sides on social media using the #BeTheirChampion – sending their support directly to a favourite player from the Matildas or Olyroos squads. The best fan pics will be compiled into a poster that brings together Australian fans to create a snapshot of the most passionate fans from across the nation.

For your chance to be featured, tag the Matildas or Olyroos on social media (via the pages linked below) with an image that best shows how you cheer on Australia. Make sure to let us know who will be your champion and why!

While fans will unfortunately not be there in person, you can still be that vital 12^th player inspiring our teams to success.

Learn more about all of the players involved at Tokyo 2020 through our exclusive inside content on Matildas.com.au and Olyroos.com.au.

You can play your part by interacting with the Matildas on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram as well as the Olyroos on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram.
